Ever Sick! Consulting, founded by Jordyn Angeconeb, offers a range of culturally informed workshops designed to foster inclusion, equity, and respect for Indigenous and Two-Spirit perspectives. These sessions are tailored for organizations, communities, and individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of First Nations and 2SLGBTQQIA+ experiences. Drawing from Anishinaabe knowledge and lived expertise, the workshops emphasize building safer spaces through education on identity, cultural safety, and gender-affirming practices. Participants engage in interactive discussions that promote self-reflection, allyship, and practical strategies for creating inclusive environments, often incorporating storytelling and community-building activities to make the learning experience both impactful and accessible.
In addition to equity and inclusion training, Ever Sick! Consulting provides specialized drag creation labs and creative expression workshops, highlighting drag as a legitimate art form rooted in theatre, movement, and Indigenous storytelling. These hands-on sessions invite participants – particularly Indigenous queer and trans youth – to explore self-expression, reclaim confidence, and experiment with performance elements like makeup, costuming, and choreography. By blending advocacy with artistry, these workshops empower attendees to step into their power, address marginalization, and celebrate diverse identities in a supportive setting. Past offerings have been featured at events like the 2Spirit Awareness Week and ONECA Education Conference, where Jordyn has facilitated sessions on youth empowerment and cultural resilience.
Stay tuned in the New Year when we update with our traditional workshops and teachings!
